Well i think i spoke a bit too soon on my last post! I have been a bad blogger this week..No excuse just not had the mojo!

Well i was asked to make a card for someone who has just graduated from nursing college....Well i was at a loss....really didnt know what to do. Then i came across this Dottie download from charmed cards and crafts....The background paper was from a download on Cuddly Buddly and the floweres were from my local craft shop. The ribbon is from east of India and i got from a craft stall that is sometimes in my town.

Christmas Tale

I love this stamp from House Mouse....its just so cute...

I have made 4 of these the same for an elderly lady who is wheelchair bound and she wanted 4 cards for the ladies at the Library who help her every week. The only stipulation was it had to have a book on it somewhere! As soon as she said this i knew i had the perfect stamp. The papers are from my stash....not sure where from and the flowers were from my local craft shop. Hope she likes them!

God i need to get better at this blogging lark....although i havent had a card to post for a few days as im full of a stinking cold and have been feeling sorry for myself....

Well did this one this morning as part of an order....I used a penny black stamp coloured with watercolour pencils...the papers are from HOTP that i got ages ago and the card is good old bazzil card! The glittered holly i picked up from my local craft shop...not sure who makes them....

Diamond Wedding!

Love this little stamp! It a Little Claire Designs! All i have done is matted and layered onto red card and silver mirri card! The background paper is from Cuddly buddly downloadable papers and printed the sentiment off the computer! It was also for the May Challenge over on Cuddly Buddly!

Tilda & Co Challenge

Decoupage Tilda & Co

Now for this week..... I would love to see you decoupage with your magnolia stamps.


This could be as simple as having a Tilda or Edwin, that is holding something, you then stamp that image out twice, cut out the item he/she is holding and then layer it up with foam pads or silicone glue, to give a 3d effect


Or you could go totally wild and build up lot’s of layers.

Please remember your work could be a card, Layout(scrapbook page) Atc, Altered Item, anything you like! alsong as your work has Magnolia Stamp on there somewhere.

Heres my card for the tilda and co challenge. You cant tell but she is decoupaged and so is the balloon!....I think she looks soooooo cute!

Im loving the papers on this card! I got them off QVC a few weeks ago....I dont know the make of them but there are so many cute ones! So hopefully you will see a few more of them ! Used my cute little Charley stamp again from Cuddly Buddly! The wording stamp is again from Cuddly Buddly! And i finished the card off with a few adhesive gems and Prima Flowers!

Lifes calming down a bit now, work is still busy but the wedding invitations i was making are now all finished! I have a few hours to myself and trying to get in as much crafting in as possible.....Just on my way out to do the weekly shop...( which i hate ) ... Hopefully i will have a few more card this afternoon!

Not had a Minute...

I need to apologise....i have been a very bad blogger recently but I have had sooooo much on...I have been making wedding invitation for my friends wedding and needed to do them asap! Nearly finished them just a few last minute details then all done....thank god! I have been very busy at work as well and then on top of that we have been having alot of work done on the house! All the bedrooms decorated...new kitchen ...new carpets...so we have been in a bit of a mess....

Anyway...was getting sick of wedding invites so made a quick card using my new stamp from Little Claire Designs...Papers are from papermania retro flowers...and some bazzil card!

Well i have had these images coloured for ages but just not made anything with them....so hope you like....

Cool Dude!

I love this stamp! I think he is sooooo cool......I have just stamped and coloured with watercolour pencils and cut round him.. I had a music stamp that i have had in my collection for about 2 years and its on;y been used once.....some papers from Hotp and a few brads....

Its for a friend of mine who has the best singing voice and he does a great impersonation of Elvis! So i thought this was perfect for his birthday card!

Oh i love this stamp....This one came from Fran in her gorgeous PIF from a couple of weeks ago! I have done this card for Marlenes challenge on her blog over at A lil' bit of me. ( Link on the left ). She has some beautiful blog candy up for grabs as well. Now on to the challenge:

I love the colour Green so you will have to use it somewhere in your creation.. and as I tend to use ribbon alot, I would like to see some of this too

Sorry ive not been around much lately but work is sooo stressful at the moment.. I have been on training courses and am trying to get my head around France and Ireland...two new products i have to sell and know inside out. For those of you that dont know i work in the travel industry and for the first time in over 20+ years im feeling like a trainee all over again!!!! Never mind, another couple of weeks and i shall be fine....

PIF Candy

Well i was so excited yesterday morning i received a lovely PIF Candy from Fran over at Franmade. ( link to frans blog on the left ) Go on over to her blog it is just beautiful....a very talented lady. I cant show you what she sent as i dont have a digi camera and i cant fit it in my scanner!!! There was lots of flowers a beautiful set of embelishments and some georgeous stamped images of tildas. So a big thank you to Fran!

I thought it would be very apt to have a get well challenge this week, not only is Donna out of action but there seems to be a lot of colds and other viruses doing the rounds just now.
You could make a Get Well card or a mini book, an altered item or gift box, anything really that would cheer up a sick friend or relative!

Well i think she is a little cutie!!! I have had a bit of spending spree on Magnolia Stamps.....Joanna Sheen had some lovely one's and her delivery is free!!!! You see its just that i NEEDED them!

Mums Anniversary card....

from dad.....What do you think on this....im not sure of it...but then im always over critical when the cards are for Mum & Dad. Dont know why because i know they will love them....The images are decoupaged and are from the Daisie company......

Cuddly Buddly New Stamps.....

This is another new stamp from over at Cuddly Buddly. They are soooooo cute. Great to colour. Go on over and have a see! This is Robbie with Football. I made this with my nephew in mind!

Edwin for Magnolia challenge!

The brief was to use string on your card and a magnolia stamp. Heres my effort. Im not that pleased with it as it didnt turn out as i expected! Let me know what you think! Papers are from a stash i have had for ages and the card is of course bazzill!

New stamp!!!!! Ohhhh i love her....

Ohhhhh...im going to be in trouble now....i just ordered two of these little cutties from Kim at Cuddly Buddly and im in love with her....I think i NEED all of them. There are 4 little charecters 2 boys and 2 girls and I NEED THEM ALL! Do you get the picture.....

Ive just watercoloued her with pencils and cut her out. Used some bazzill card and prima flowers and hey presto!

Farmer Tilda!

Well....my finger keeps slipping on the keyboard and some of these pesky little tildas jumped in my shopping basket over on Funky Kits. I think this one is sooooo cute.

Papers are from Junkitz, Sentiment is Bazzill chip toppers.some prima flowers and Gems.

I love her....i hope you do too!

My New Stamp

This is one of my new stamps i got from First Class Crafts. Kitty is having a sale on alot of her stamps and i've had my eye on the rubber romance stamp for a while. She's called Carrie. My niece is called Carrie and just had to have it because she even looks like her! She is coloured with watercolour pencils and matted onto bazzil card and the red papers are from HOTP. The finishing touches are the Prima Flowers!

I was really sure about this card at first but its grown on me overnight!

Again apologies for not spending more time on here but with work the housework and seeing my other half....i just dont seem to have alot of time!

Valentine.......

Well i think im on a roll......2 cards in 2 days! This is for my other half for valentines. I just hope he like! Being a man you see he doesnt like anythink fussy...no sparkle ....no bling.....no ribbons...."because men dont like that sort of thing". Well im not too keen on this but it will have to do!

I have just mar=tted and layered onto bazil card! used HOTP papers from the cardmakers creative pack Citrus. Also i am at last getting the hang of my crop-o-dile as you can see from the eyelets on the image. Finally some prima fowers.

I have made this card for my nephew for his birthday. The papers are from dcwv as is the card which i have matted and layered the image onto. The brads are ones have been in my stash for ever and i cant remember where there from!

I have spent my evenings this week colouring some images so you may well get a few more cards this week. I have been so inspired by searching everyones blog and looking at all the wonderful creations you do!

Tilda & Co Challenge No3.

I know...i know ...i know.... I haven't posted for a while. My apologies...I have been sooooo busy at work that when i have finished for the day I've not wanted to do anything. I still haven't sent my you make my day awards yet....Sorry. Ive been tagged and haven't had a minute to do that either...I'm getting very behind. Hopefully next week i will have some quiet time to do all of the above....

Well my card.....Its a lovely little image and was just crying out for lots of lilac so there's prima lilac flowers..bazzil bling and papers from hot off the press. The shiny silver is my eyelets on the image my gem brads and the other little gems in the flowers and in the corners. Hope you like.

uplifting occasion

This is such a cute Penny Black stamp.....I love it..... Its for a friend of mine who has just been told that she has cancer of the colon....... I thought it might cheer her up! Although she is the strongest person i know.....Im just saying my prayers for her! Love you Trish!

Well its just watercoloured , matted onto bazzil card. The paper is from k & co which i have just torn a corner off! Some k & co sticj=kers and some bright pink gems.......Very simple!

A little bit of Sugar!!!!!!!

Sugar Nellie that is....Isnt she cute....she's called dress up maggie and i love her. So you may well see her again and again and again...( i think you get the message )

I coloured her using whispers brush makers and matted her onto black card. Used some beautiful Anna Griffin papers that i have had for ages but have never found anything to us them with! Added some black glitter mini brads and ribbon! And of course there had to be some bazzil card!

Well im sat here bored at work today so have had time to craft... but dont think i'll be doing much over the next couple of weeks because during the week we will be busy! Everyone wants to book a holiday!

1st Card of 2008!

This is my 1st card made in 2008! Hope you all like it. I love these Magnolia stamps and got a couple for myself at Christmas! ( My christmas pressie to myself )

I have coloured the image with whispers brushmarkers.... (mt pressie off my mum for christmas ) Matted and layered bazzil card and k & Co papers! I have also used my cop-a-dile for the first time today and didnt think it looked too bad. Added some fancy fibers and prima flowers and mini buttons.

Hope everyone is ok and not suffering like myself....im full of cold but still plodding on. Just hope it doesnt go into a chest infection!!!!! I need to get my house back to normality so the decorations will be coming down on Sunday and i hate it because the house looks so bare after!

Sisterhood Of Blogging Stampers 7.......

Fitrstly let me apologise for the delay.....its been christmas and new year and I have just not had the time......so massive apologies to everyone......also a big thank you to everyone that has left me some fantastic messages.....i will get round to replying soon i promise!

Well, about me..... Im a 38 year old cradmaking addict.....i live in Manchester, England with my partner Andrew. We have been together for 10 years now...but it really feels like longer.....i dont have any children but Andrew has a daughter who comes to stay most weekends. She is called Michaela and is now 18......I am a Travel Agent and i work from home which has its good points and bad points.

I love stamping but have only just got into it over the past 12 months so not fantastic at it yet. I am builing up a large collection of stamps though as i cant resist when i go shopping! I am hoping to add to my blog everyday but cant promise anything!

Looking forward to getting to know all my new sisters!

Sorry...sorry...sorry that i have not posted for ages. I have been sooooooo busy with family and christmas and then new year i have just not had a minute to myself. Im itching to get crafting as i havent done anything since before christmas!!!! Santa was very kind to me this year and bought me a cuttlebug,crop-o-dile, whispers pen set and lots of lovely bits and pieces! I NEED TO CRAFT.....but im now back at work and this is our busiest time of year so will try to come on when i can.
